Twin Lakes Recap!

Well that is a show that we will never forget.  First and foremost, I am so proud of this band - the students, the parents and this entire staff.  The conditions that we faced the entire day tested our patience and dedication for sure, but at every roadblock the students, parents and staff rose to show their true first class character. I want to thank all of the parents who came and helped in so many ways dealing with these most challenging conditions....

The kids had a fantastic show in spite of the rain - (or was that a Tropical storm???)  The bandwon First Place in Class A and the following caption awards: Best Music, Best General Effect, Best Marching, Best Percussion, Best Color Guard and Best Drum Majors—and in MY eyes - BEST PIT CREW!!!!

The students will be performing at Lewis Cass High School this Saturday at the ISSMA District contest.  A reminder to all ---that any score at an ISSMA event CANNOT be published in any way. Not on Facebook- on web sites- anywhere. Please adhere to these rules as penalties to our program can be given.

It was great to see those faithful parents at Twin Lakes in the monsoon! I would encourage parents to invite other parents of band students to attend these shows. The students truly appreciate hearing you in the stands!
