What is SCRIP?
SCRIP is a fundraising program that directly benefits individual student accounts. SCRIP certificates/cards are from regional and national merchants (grocery stores, restaurants, and retail stores) and are purchased at full face value and are used just like cash. SCRIP certificates/cards are purchased from Jeff Band Boosters; a percentage is earned for each certificate purchased and is applied to individual student accounts.
How does SCRIP work?
Order SCRIP certificates/cards by completing the order form (link above), include payment (checks payable to JHS Band Boosters), and place in the SCRIP mailbox located in the Music Department hallway across from the Administration Office. The deadline for receipt of SCRIP order forms is 3:30 p.m. every Thursday. Orders are placed on Friday mornings for distribution the following week. Pickup arrangements will be made on an individual basis with each family.
There is a cash and carry supply of scrip cards for immediate purchase available in the Band Department. See list below.
SCRIP earnings are accumulated in each family’s SCRIP account and goes into the individual student account on the last day of every month.
New members will need to complete the Registration Form (link above) to establish a SCRIP account with the band boosters. Turn this form in along with your first order form.
