Marching Band

Awards and Achievements: The Lafayette Jeff Marching Band is a part of a vibrant music program at Lafayette Jefferson High School. The Over 200 students participate in the total band program which includes this all-volunteer competitive marching band, 3 concert bands, 2 jazz bands, winter guard, winter percussion and numerous smaller ensembles.  The Jefferson Marching Band has received many awards over the past years at various ISSMA, BOA and invitational contests.  For the past 17 years the marching band has been an ISSMA State Finalist or Semi State Finalist.  In recent years,  the Jeff Marching Band has performed at many national parades and events including the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Parade, Pearl Harbor, Disney Magic Kingdom, Universal Studios and  twice in the Hollywood Santa Parade in California. The Jeff Band program has been an ISSMA All Music recipient for the past 12 years.
